Your comments on this small section of LROC image M162350671L please

This is a very small part of a 250+Mb image M162350671L which I was looking at last night. There are smaller versions if you want to download them from the official LROC Observation page for M162350671L although if you search for this number online you will get a few different images which claim to have the same reference. I dont understand this, but anyway, this is the official site.

I would be interested to hear any comments you have about this picture which I have split up from the original and just taken a very small section. I have not added anything other that to maybe lighten or darken the image or adjust the contrast.

the image may be downloaded from here if you want to increase the size.

Looking at this pic reminds me of a sea floor or a lava spill, neither of which should be very prolific on the moon.

I am intrigued, but perhaps my eyes are not as good as yours? Maybe you will share your perspective?
