Beautiful: Orange Soil and... ??

Ahh, Q, perhaps we can have some fun with this 70mm Hassy image taken on the lunar surface by one of the Apollo 17 astronauts!! This is a beautiful image, showing the North Massif with the scarp and Hanover crater in the distance. The orange soil was what initially drew my interest here...

Note that there is even a color calibration image available for this roll of film and camera, and the colors can be matched to produce a nicer image.

There are other items besides orange soil here, and perhaps they are worth discussing? Very Happy

not grey

The regolith of the moon is not grey. That's a lie.The moon is a color full place and NASA deliberately reduced colors in her images of the moonscape. With (free) software like Emphasis you could try to bring back the original colors.
