If YOU See A UFO/UAP...Suggestions?

Summer is on the way in the USA and that means warm summer nights under the stars for a lot of people. The chance of seeing an object that is not identifiable in the sky goes up, and so it might be a good idea to go through what should be done to capture the most helpful information.

Rather than me suggesting things in the wrong order, perhaps some of our family here would be willing to offer their idea of what a person should do if they encounter something unusual in the sky, with a camera or without?

Hi Jackie,

First, you should check the flightpath of the object and second velocity. Is it moving in an exact curve / in a straight line or / and are there sudden changes in direction and speed. Many satellites, the ISS, spaceshuttle and Soyuz, as well as aircraft cruising at high altitude have been mistaken for UFO. It would also be interesting to know where the observation took place, so that others who live nearby also can confirm the sighting. Shape, sound(s), colours and even static electricity are of importance. Don't forget, wind direction, weather conditions etcetera. An object that flies with the speed of an aircraft, against the wind direction, changes rapidly altitude; cannot be a balloon!

Be as complete as you can be and report it ... always!
