LROC WAC's in Color!
I thought you might be interested to know that the LRO is also using its WAC to image the moon in color, similar to Clementine. This is something that escaped my notice until today.
Here is an example that the LRO site posted:
which is from this link:

I am really hoping that the site that posted the IMG converter will also post a link for putting together full color WAC's!!

Re: LROC WAC's in Color!
Hi Rick,
LROC WAC’s aren’t easily viewable at this time, since the Zoomify application on the LROC site won’t display them properly. (Another thing about Zoomify that needs to be fixed, by the way!)
There is an application available that works with WAC’s, but you have to download the WAC, and one or more support files for the WAC, as well. The software is available for Windows only, I think, and looks quite complicated to use, though there are a lot of help files.
I have not had a chance to try it, but I’ll post the link to it so others can give it a whirl. If anyone figures out how to get it working properly, perhaps they could post a tutorial here!
